The Parade Master is the first real test of your combat skills in Lies of P. He’s big, loud, and hits hard — but he’s also a predictable foe once you learn his rhythm. Here’s how to beat him.

1. Prepare Before the Fight
Make sure you’ve leveled up a few times at the Stargazer and upgraded your weapon. Equip your best gear, bring some Pulse Cells (healing), and choose a weapon with reach if you're struggling to stay out of his range.
2. Learn His Patterns
The Parade Master has slow, telegraphed attacks with huge swings. Dodge to the side or behind him — not backward — to avoid getting clipped by wide arcs. Watch for his body slam and charge attacks, which leave him open for counterattacks.
3. Aim for the Back
Like many large enemies, he’s vulnerable from behind. After he finishes a combo, move in, land a hit or two, then back off. Greedy players get punished — stay patient and wait for safe openings.
4. Use Perfect Guards and Dodges
Blocking isn’t always safe in Lies of P. Learn to Perfect Guard (timing your block just as the attack lands) or dodge just before impact to avoid chip damage and build stagger pressure. Staggering him will open him up for a heavy attack.
5. Watch for Phase Two
At half health, the Parade Master gets more aggressive. He pulls out a pole and adds new moves, including a devastating lunge. Stay mobile and don’t panic — keep dodging, strike after big attacks, and keep your healing ready.
6. Don’t Forget the Legion Arm
If you have your Legion Arm unlocked, use it for extra pressure or ranged damage. It can give you a small edge when you’re hesitant to get close.
Final Tip: Stick to the basics — patience, positioning, and punishing mistakes. The Parade Master teaches you to respect every enemy’s timing and prepare for bigger challenges ahead.
Once defeated, you’ll unlock new areas and begin your descent into the twisted city of Krat. If you can beat this mechanical menace, you’re ready for the dark and beautiful horrors that await.
